Customer Success Engineer (Associate)

Denver, CO · Hybrid

About Nami

Nami ML is the subscription orchestration platform, the experience layer where product and marketing teams design, test, and optimize subscriber journeys across CTV, web, and mobile, without code. Our SDKs run on iOS, Apple TV, Android, Roku, Fire TV, Samsung, LG, Vizio, Xbox, and Google TV, plus React Native and browser. We process billions of subscriber events for streaming services, telecoms, and global retailers. We're a small AI-first team that ships a lot.

What you'll do

This is the first hire in customer success engineering. You'll be the technical bridge between our customers' engineering teams and ours, and you'll build the internal AI tooling that lets a team our size operate like a team three times larger.

Three things make up the job:

  • Build agentic workflows. We're AI-first internally. You'll build and maintain Claude Code subagents, MCP servers, and GitHub Actions workflows: the automation that takes repetitive work off the team's plate so the time goes to real engineering. If you've already wired Claude Code or Codex into a workflow and want that to be the bulk of your day, this is the work.
  • Triage customer-facing issues. Reports come in as bugs, purchase events that look wrong, or paywalls that won't render on a device like Fire TV. You'll reproduce each one, classify it, and decide whether it's a config issue, a customer-side bug, or something we need to fix. Getting that call right early is what keeps real issues moving fast and the team focused on them.
  • Run releases across platforms. Nami ships across CTV, web, and mobile. The release process touches Linear, our GitHub Actions workflow, CocoaPods, Maven Central, npm, and more. You'll own the choreography: making sure the right tickets exist, the right approvals happen, and customers know what's changing and when.

Who we're looking for

  • CS degree preferred but not required. We care more about what you can do than where you did it.
  • Entry-level candidates welcome. We don't require prior full-time experience.
  • You're technical. You read code, you write scripts, you live in a terminal. You don't need to be a full software engineer. You need to be someone who can debug, automate, and ship small things reliably.
  • You've wired an LLM into a workflow and shipped real output. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or a similar tool.
  • You write clearly. Most of this job is communicating with engineers at other companies, in writing.
  • This role is hybrid in Denver, with regular in-office collaboration expected. If you need accommodations to perform the role's essential functions, we're happy to discuss.

The stack you'll touch

  • GitHub and GitHub Actions
  • Linear and Confluence
  • Slack
  • SDKs spanning Swift, Kotlin, TypeScript, React Native, and BrightScript
  • A backend in Go and Django, coordinated through Redis
  • Internal AI tooling: Claude Code with custom subagents and MCP servers

You won't be expert in all of this on day one, but you're willing to learn it.

Why this is a good fit

You'll work directly with a co-founder, shoulder-to-shoulder with the engineering, product, and Professional Services teams. The team is small enough that you'll be in the conversations where decisions get made, watching the trade-offs and the reasoning behind them in real time. The AI-first toolchain means you'll ship things that would take three people at a slower company. And you'll work directly with engineering teams at some of the biggest names in streaming, sports, and media.

Compensation and benefits

  • Base salary: $65,000–$80,000, depending on experience.
  • Equity: Stock option grant, commensurate with role and stage.
  • Health: Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Time off: Paid vacation, sick leave, and company holidays.

Work authorization

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. We are not able to sponsor employment visas for this role.

To apply

Email [email protected] — tell us about something technical you've built or automated, for school, for a side project, or for yourself. A repo link, a screenshot, a paragraph. We care more about that than your resume.
